Atomic Cafe part 2

I thought that the theme of this documentary was to used as a warning of the dangers of the atomic bomb and the hydrogen bomb. I was wrong when Mr. Bennett pointed out that the theme was that everything that the government says is bull*$&. In the end, when the documentary was showing a simulation of what would happen in a city if an atomic bomb was announced to hit, the authorities said be calm there is nothing to worry. This is completetly false, the minute you find out that a hydrogen bomb is heading to your location is basically you finding out that you are going to die within the next few minutes. In addition, during the times of the coldwar the government encouraged that of fallout shelters will protect you from the bomb. Again, this is bull, there is nothing you can do if a hydrogen bomb is to be detonated near you. A scene that really captured my attention is when the solders were walking towards the site of the detonation of an atomic bomb. The mushroom cloud with the soldiers walking towards is was a really powerful image.
